Alex Silver is an experimental folk musician from Maine, where he works as a French teacher. Today he plays most frequently in Chico States, an alt-country project with a recent release for Anything Bagel. He’s a former guitarist for Raw Honey, a Michigan-based indie band whose album Riverbed came out on Fred Thomas’ Life Like label. Silver has also written for Stockholm’s L’amour La mort. Future plans include releases on Subvert, a co-op in which he is an active member.
